We had an excellent meal here. It’s not cheap but it was worth every penny. We had salmon, pasta, burger and steak. We had the brown bread for dessert it was all delicious! My husband and just dined here again; we shared 4 appetizers and the focaccia bread, excellent! I didn’t get pics this time but we will be back!
I have been there two times. First time I came in with low expectations and was absolutely blown away. I ordered the beets appetizer, rib eye steak, and pistachio desert. All three were literally the best food I may have ever tasted. It reset the biochemistry in my dopamine system. The food blew me away. The service was extreme. I never knew someone could get that deep into the details of the food. Second time I came in with very high expectations and was somehow blwon away again. I ordered wagu short rib balls sauce and had a del Monaco steak followed by a strawberry rhubarb tart. The rib balls were descent but the Del Monaco was just impossibly good. The truffle sauce on the side was soooooo good. The desert was also very good. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I feel like I am eating at a restaurant like Dorcia. Well done chaps.
I wish you could reply directly to other peoples ignorant reviews. Its one thing to write about one bad experience, but to be completely dishonest and attack one of the best restaurants in the area is different. Michael Mecca, get a life. Also, get a grammar and punctuation lesson. You’re a roughly 50 year old man who evidently has nothing better to do than act like a 7 year old brat. I am an industry professional, qualified to say that the food and service at Prescotts has never been anything less than top notch. I am asked a lot about which area restaurants are the best or worth the money, and PP is always in that conversation. The service staff is incredibly patient, efficient, friendly and well trained. None of them would say any of the things that this Michael Mecca loser is claiming. Also, the tables are not THAT close together. One undercooked pizza that you simply could have asked to be finished instead of acting like it ruined your life. Everyone makes the occasional mistake, its not a reason to race home to your keyboard and ‘get some justice’ by exaggerating and lying about your experience in an establishment that is doing incredibly well in an industry you clearly know nothing about. Everyone there takes food and drink very seriously and they do not deserve to be degraded by some idiot who thinks his review is appropriate. You sound like more of an chain restaurant guy, stick to that next anniversary.
Went here with my parents. It was lovely. The food was delicious and the staff were very kind. I would suggest going with a bunch of people to get as many items at possible! Was a little loud but would go back again.
5 stars because of the FOOD! WOW! Day after Valentine's Day. Didn't order alcohol and didn't want anything but water but was told they were "taking all orders at the same time today." I was starving and asked if I could put in food and was denied for that reason. We waited maybe 10/15 minutes before the waitress came around and took our food orders. The staff was dressed casually proving there's no fancy dress code. The quality of the food was so delicious and well plated I was surprised at how casual the atmosphere is. It's an anomaly. Based on the food alone this is one of the best dinners I've had around Buffalo. What would be interesting to me is if there was a sister restaurant created that held the same quality of food but had high level professional service as well. Wheat focaccia, waygu arancini, butternut squash bruschetta, filet entree, pork chop entree, and two desserts to go one was a chocolate peanut butter bomb and the other one is a pistachio cake. The pistachio cake is absolutely phenomenal and the waygu arancini was the best arancini I ever had in my life. I would return and I would reccomend this restaurant. 200 bill with no alcohol , 2 people. For that price point and the standard that they serve their food, I would be intrigued to see a different level of service.
The food is WORTH it! They are so creative and delicious. We've been twice now and both times equally impressed between food, atmosphere, and staff. I still can't stop thinking about their pork chop, and I think I'll always order the octopus small plate and artichoke small plate as an appetizer. Highly recommend for a nice night out.
Had great cocktails, great food. American style book with a twist. Everything was really tasty. And our server was really nice! Thanks for taking such good care of us and kudos to the kitchen for healthy yet very delicious food.
It was my birthday last night and a snowstorm lol. I have never been to this restaurant however I am so glad that we ended up there. The service at the bar was outstanding by Mark, who explained every dish off the menu from the top of his head. The waitress, Elizabeth, could not have been more pleasant. The food was astronomical, and the kitchen was pristine as I was able to go in the back and say hello and thank you personally. I highly recommend this establishment for the ambience, the friendliness, and the atmosphere as it was one of the finest places I have ever been. They strived to make my birthday a beautiful evening, and it absolutely was everything I could have ever wished for. Please check out this establishment and don’t pass it by as it will be a fantastic experience.
